We developed seven interactive games to replace a series of outdated graphic panels. These were designed to complement the scenes depicted in the surrounding diorama so the games and scenic displays worked cohesively. We also needed to ensure the games could be completed relatively quickly to avoid creating queues during busy months.
Challenges range from finding the best place in the rainforest to grow cocoa beans to matching the correct clothes to the right god or using the right ingredients to make chocolate Maya style.
Users can also explore the ancient city of Tenochtilan as they help Cortes find Montezuma’s palace.
We were responsible for all content research, design development and programming along with creating all illustrative assets for the new games.
