The Jackfield Tile Museum is one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums.
Here visitors can see, touch and walk upon magnificent British tiles as they wander through the original gas-lit trade showroom, period room re-creations and fascinating exhibition galleries.
The Museum wanted to allow visitors to engage with their extensive catalogue of 1,600 artefacts, displaying interpretive information using a bespoke kiosk design we created.
This allowed visitors access to accurate virtual reproductions of the items on display, as well as further archive material. The software used a user tracking tool which recorded the number of users and average dwell time for the Museum, enabling them to measure the engagement effectiveness.
