We developed two new exhibits for ‘The World Turned Upside Down’ exhibition that highlight the turbulent events of the 17th century.
Brexit Bus Projection:
A selection of propaganda or ‘fake news’ headlines from the 17th century to the present day are incorporated onto an image of a modern bus – referencing the tactics of the recent Brexit referendum campaign. This is projected at nearly life-size on the wall to provide a thought-provoking backdrop to the gallery.
Sign the Warrant:
Visitors are able to view a copy of King Charles I’s death warrant and find out more about the motivations – and fate – of the original signatories. They can also add their own ‘signature’ and email a copy home.
To provide an enriched learning experience, we created a series of animations. These were based on period woodcut illustrations and helped bring to life the story of a number of key regicides.
